Truth does not matter to Science Outlets

Why would any science outlet purposely allow bad information to be published?

Why are the science outlets and publications posting articles that are not only just trivial, but more concerning, tainted with incorrect information and loads of speculation. It is not Live Science specific but all the science entities. It is sad when a wealthier class of people can feel that the people beneath them are not worthy to treat with some form of respect and honesty.

This is the strangest article from Live Science. Why would they publish an article with known bad information, when it is well known that the accepted information is different?

Live Science - The hottest spot is in Libya - “The fiery award for Earth’s hottest spot goes to El Azizia, Libya, where temperature records from weather stations reveal it hit 136 degrees Fahrenheit (57.8 degrees Celsius) on Sept. 13, 1922, according to NASA Earth Observatory. ...” Maybe they are trusting NASA?

There are proper ways and standards to measuring temperature. This is something that many entities such as NOAA, NASA, and Live Science seem to disrespect while accepting bad data. The temperature was considered a violation of natural environmental setting and disqualified by the WMO and also the Guinness Book of World Records (2012).

Maybe the answer is it is deception. If a person goes around and quotes, "the hottest temperature ever was set nearly one hundred years ago in Libya on September 13th of 1922, see no Climate Change". First, they are wrong and can be truthfully told they are wrong. Second in that moment they lost the conversation, being looked at as someone lacking knowledge to talk on the subject; which sadly is true.

The problem is the fact is the hottest temperature not only accepted by Guinness Book of World Records, but also the WMO of the United Nations is from Death Valley California on July 10, 1913, with a temperature of 134F.  THIS WAS OVER ONE HUNDRED YEARS AGO!

Do these science outlets and publishers care about their reputation? Why would anyone claiming an interest in science subscribe to such entities that put out junk?
